THE GEORGE IS AN 18^TH CENTURY, GRADE II LISTED PUB ON GREAT PORTLAND STREET, FITZROVIA.

Across two floors, we offer a food and drink menu befitting of a modern London public house.

If pubs could talk, this one would have a lot to say. As a central hub for the political, cultural and social movements of the late 18^th century, home to writers and poets in the 20^th century, and in recent years, a favourite haunt of locals and travellers alike, The George has seen it all.

Join us for live sports, great Guinness, Irish Whiskey and Irish Coffees, served alongside cask ales, craft beers, seasonal cocktails, an extensive wine list, & food served all day.

Please note that our menus are subject to price and item change, and our menus below are samples only. Our Events Menu requires a 72 hour pre-order, and our monthly-changing Gluepot Menu is available in The Gluepot Private Dining Room only.

THE GLUEPOT

Tucked away on the first floor, our new iteration of The Gluepot is is an intimate private dining room with an exclusive monthly-changing menu that showcases the very best of The George. Equipped with a private screen and space for a Guinness keg, it’s ideal for premium dining for up to 10 guests.
